No more warning players

Recently in game I have experienced 2 admins warning players to turn their hacks off. I seriously do not understand this logic 1 bit, can someone please enlighten me on why yous do this?

Once a hacker is always a hacker, it's your job to demo and then ban.

One can only assume the warning is to keep more players in the server?? But at the end of the day I'd rather play with 15 legit players then 30 that hack!!

Ive told all the admins there is to be no warnings for people who are hacking.
mic spamming and glitching maps is the only warning i give and so should every other admin

was this admin giving warnings called *DNS[GT]Killerangel because ive seen her on the server and caught her giving warnings to hackers who subsequently kept hacking which therefore needed to be banned

That is an absolute joke! I care cause this is the only pub server left realy that's active.
Though I am extremely concerned about the way it's run

yes i understand exactly where your comming from if we give warnings to hackers they will just keep hacking. Because hackers dont hack to get caught they hack to get an advantage

Its good that you care for the server and im trying real hard to stop the server from becoming another GA because that reputation is nothing to be proud of.

I mean, i can say this, say that, and suggest this!! But at the end of the day im not an admin, you are! so the power is with you, i fully know what is required to run a good clean server, and you should know too from Combat zone. That was run good. This imo should be a replica of that.

You cant have people hacking, and warn them to not hack. Thtas one of the craziest things i have heard.

I agree for the ones who are blatantly hacking. You know, the obvious, OBVIOUS aimbot and/or wallhack. But there are too many players that are actually legit but are being banned on sight, just because the admin involved doesn't have the experience to realise the skill level of the banned player. Is that justice?? That's also made me question why administrators with little to no experience are being appointed? If you've been playing this game long enough (as for me, since 2001), you can tell the difference between a seriously professional player and one who is pretending.
How does the review system work? Player is banned for 2160 minutes, demo is reviewed by all admin and then decided upon whether player is banned permanently?

I agree with most of what you say, though even the blatently aimbot/wallers should still be demoed and banned, because if you just ban straight away, they can simply come on the forum and complain and they would be un-banned cause of no evidence.

Yes there are a number of admins who have VERY little experience in this game, it frustrates me soooo bad, that normally id just say goodbye to this server and go to another, however there is no other pub server thats full anymore. The biggest problem here is the head owner Serena who has no idea how to run a server, and does not lead by example, she is oblivious to whats going on around her and everyone seems to follow suite.

The way admin is appointed here is laughable at best. I have given a them a good way how to appoint a new admin, weather they read it or listened to any of it, i have no idea but i only hope so for the better of this server, cause there is 3 admins who have absolutly no business doing this job, they are clueless.

I have no idea how the review system works or if there is even one in place, eg: look in the ban request section, an admin posted a demo, i was the only one who looked at it and gave an opinion. This should be viewed by all admins, not me.
So how all this review works i have no idea, but they need some sort of routine here quick and fast.

Yeah, sorry, think I confused myself with the first part of the post. Actually, the whole banning someone for 2160 minutes confuses me to no end. I agree that everyone should have a voice and have evidence provided against them to ban them. I just think the really blatent ones (you know what I'm talking about) should be banned for 2160 minutes, not EVERYONE who is suspected of hacking. During that ban time, the admins would review and obviously vote against the player, banning them permanently.
For the less obvious, I don't believe a 2160 min ban should be put in place immediately, especially if it's administered by one of the "noob" admins. They should be demoed, submitted and then reviewed by all admins who will come to the final verdict, either banning permanently or not.
Then again, maybe I'm putting too much faith in some of the admins here, although some of them are pretty good.

Oh, and I totally agree with the lack of full servers, pretty depressing. I remember the days when all the Internode and GA servers were full nearly every night, kinda miss it.

I agree and i have already stated that blatent, and i mean blatent hackers should be demoed and banned for 2160 minutes or whatever time it is. For the suspected hackers, they shouldnt be banned straight away, they should just submit a demo on here in the ban request section and if majority of people vote for ban, then and only then should a ban be put in place.

There are some good admins on here, but sadly the most active ones are the worst of the lot.

If you dont mind, take a look in the ban request section under the player name been n trill and have your say on the matter, i have opted for more responses but no other admin seems to care.
