Things you need to prepare: A program call "cake_v01", "winRAR" or "Wiinzip" and "Picture"

Step1: Download a software call "cake_v01".
You can either download from google or direct Download From Here
You also need to have "winRAR" or "winzip" to unzip (extract) the software so if you don't have one, you should prepare before we move to step2.
This might be a bit complicated, but I'll try my best to find a simple way to show you ok! ^-^
Step2: Once you've downloaded the program, you MUST manually create the following directories if you aint already done so. Because this is where you will save your image to.
I) In "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT NAME\counter-strike\cstrike", create a dir (folder) called "resource" and inside the resource folder and create another folder called "background".
It will be look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT NAME\counter-strike\cstrike\resource\background"
Step3: Unzip and extract the files (cake_v01) to a directory of your choice, and our tutorial will be in C:\cake,
So create a folder called "cake"in C: drive then extract it (in "C:\cake").
Step4: You need to register the DLL's or it won't run, and to do this, you need to open DOS/Command prompt by:
I) Click on your (Window) "start menu" then click on "Run", type this in Run command ---> cmd
II) Once you open the DOS prompt, you need to change to the dir (folder) where you extracted the archive (which is the "cake_v01" files),
So if you followed step3 which extracted the files to "C:\cake" folder, then type this command in the DOS prompt ---> cd c:\cake
III) Next, register the DLL with this command, type this and press enter ---> regsvr32 imagXpr6.dll
IV) You've done with the registered, it should run now by double click on "cake.exe", you can now close the DOS prompt!
Step5: Open the software by double clicking on "cake.exe" In "C:\cake" folder , and when it loads up...
I) click "Load Image", this should popup a window with dir and file listings, change to the directory with your pictures you want to use (for me I pasted the pictures into C:\cake folder as well, so it will be more easier).
II) Once you get there, when you click on the filename should give you a preview of the image and it's details. (note that even the program will auto resize the picture for you, but remember try best to find the picture that can be as close to the correct dimensions as it can be!).
III) After finishing select the picture, click "Open" (you should be able to see the preview of the picture).
IV) Now we need to save the picture by click on "Save to Directory", same as step1 it should popup a window with dir and file listings as well.
There are 2 ways to save the picture, either you save it to the directory (folder) that you familiar with first (example save it in C:\cake\background, then copy and paste all the save files to the cstrike dir "resource/background" folder that you were created in step2, which is...
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT NAME\counter-strike\cstrike\resource\background".
Or you can save it direct the the cstrike dir "resource\background".
Step6: You're Done! Click on "Quit", you should be able to see your new CS background after you reboot your steam
